Principal Service Solutions is hiring Entry Level Equipment Technicians in Hillsboro, OR. You will be trained on the installation and setup of semiconductor equipment in a manufacturing fab/cleanroom environment.

Pay Rate: Starting at $25.00/hr. 
Job Description:

  • Comply with all required safety instructions at all times.
  • Move equipment into place in customer cleanroom
  • Perform equipment pre-installations and setups
  • Install equipment to required quality standards
  • Complete work with high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Utilize detailed checklists and work instructions to ensure compliance with customer requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude/experience including the ability to use appropriate hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialized equipment are required.
  • Willingness to travel to various customer locations as required to support installation activity in different semiconductor fabs. Travel expenses relating to away-from-home work assignments will be paid by the company, with home trips every 6-8 weeks if assignment duration requires extended stay.
  • Must be flexible with all shifts, days/nights.
  • Valid Driver's License. 
Physical Requirements:
  • Willingness to work in Cleanroom environment, wearing all necessary PPE and Cleanroom attire as required for at least 8 hours each day
  • Ability to work in confined areas, in awkward positions, and/or in high places
  • Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds are required
  • May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing
  • May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc.
Educational Requirements:
  • Minimum Education of High School Diploma required or equivalent AS degree in an engineering discipline is highly desirable (related engineering discipline is electronics, electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, etc.)
  • Military education combined with related experience may be substituted for academic education
  • Troubleshooting and electromechanical repair are a plus.
